I had to choose between a new Model 3 and a low mileage two year old Model S. They were the same price. I bought the Model S. It as everything (including glass roof, free lifetime supercharging, and free upgrade to full autonomous driving). So, it only has 200 mile range. There is nowhere in the US that I cannot go. The article keeps track and guides me to the closest charger. It will not let me go out of range of a charger that would êtnd “last gas” before I ran out. Check the used inventory on the Tesla website.
