Our newest club member hails from Bismark, North Dakota. His name is Zane Zuther and he met several CSEVC club members at the recent Tesla Rally in Custer, South Dakota. He doesn't drive and EV but works for an electric utility cooperative headquartered in Bismarck, North Dakota. He is interested in the development of EVs in general and operates his own technology company in his free time. Please make him welcome when he attends one of our Zoom meetings!

I received this message a day or so ago, the coordinator needs EVs on display for Saturday, June 25, 2022. If you are interested, respond to Jim Riggins, rigginsj110@gmail.com , 719-313-6171 by June 12 if possible. Last minute cancellations and additions are not a problem.

Hello Wilson,
I'm the volunteer chair of the Southeast Colorado Renewable Energy
Society and I would like to ask for some CSEVC member support in June.
We host a series of free public lectures and education on a variety of
topics in renewable energy and energy efficiency. On Saturday, June 25,
we will host a lecture on electric vehicle basics at Library 21C from
10:30 to 12:00 noon. We would like to follow the lecture with a display of
various EVs in the parking lot, and the chance for the public to chat
with owners, starting at 11:30. The Google Maps locator for the library is https://goo.gl/maps/duS8AaLJ4pfExhnL9 .
I will have my Model X out there but I would love to see a wide variety
of makes and models in the lot. I know there have been at least 2
Rivian R1T deliveries in Colorado Springs and it would be outstanding if
any of these owners are CSEVC members and might be able to attend.
Could you please send out the announcement of this event to the
membership? I apologize for the late notice, but we've delayed the
scheduling while waiting to see what the COVID situation would be.
Thank you.
Jim Riggins
