Out member, Peter Mattaroo, has had his Model 3 configuration time arrive but he's not ready to take the Model 3 yet. He's interested in swapping his early reservation date with another Model 3 reservation holder farther down the line.
If you're interesting in ordering an early Model 3, contact Peter Mattaroo at Peter.Mattaroo at csevc dot com or send an email to info @ csevc dot com.

Solar Energy conference needs EVs, March 12-14
Here is a letter sent to David M. in the DEVC, which he forwarded to many EV clubs in the area.
David,
COSEIA is trying to organize a small EV showcase at our big conference in March http://coseia.org/conference/ but we are a bit tight on bandwidth to get it properly organized and all parties invited/informed to our standards.
Any
chance DEVC or you are willing to undertake this on our (COSEIA) behalf
in exchange for a couple free conference tickets. We are in the
process of reserving a dozen or so parking spaces outside the venue.
Keelin Kelly is CC'd here and is handling much of the extensive organization surrounding the whole conference.
If this sounds like something DEVC is willing to do, let us know.
Thanks,
Nick

Welcome Bradley Wilkinson!
Out newest member lives in Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, CO and has a 2016 CMax Energi, ruby red. He expects to be at the Jan. 27 club meeting, say hello to him!
Join the great tire pressure debate!
Only slightly behind politics and religion as a do-not-discuss-in-a-taxi subject, tire pressure is a hot topic.
I have been asking many of our club members about their approach and you might be surprised at the differences of opinions. I'm sure this will be discussed at our next club meeting on Jan. 27 (GOTG Trading Post, noon) so come on over and add your two cents.
My current opinion: have your car's tires at 3 psi *below* the recommended cold pressure to allow for expansion when driving.
And let the discussion flow forth...

Baker, CA SC being built
Thanks to our club member, Dan Rosenblatt, for photos of the new Tesla Supercharger being built in Baker, CA. It has 456 solar panels and boasts a huge number of stalls. The Tesla charging website says it'll be operational in 2018. Thanks Dan!
