Visiting student wants our input

To All:

I received the following email (I have replied) from a student at the University of Edinburgh asking to meet with us as part of his dissertation program. I verified his domain name in his email, so this appears to be a legitimate request from a real person (note: we get bogus comments and emails to our blog all the time!).

I responded to his email with a request for further information, so I'll keep everyone posted. If you'd like to meet with Carlos to share your Colorado EV experience, feel free to let me know of your interest and I'll keep you on the short list for when/if we setup a meeting.

===========
Good morning,

I'm currently writing a dissertation on the adoption of EVs in Colorado, with a focus on Colorado Springs, as part of my MSc program in Energy, Society, and Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh, UK. As part of my research and as a 17-year resident of Colorado, I'm very interested in interviewing members of the CSEVC to gather input on how their involvement with EVs influence and are influenced by EV performance, infrastructure, policies, social factors, etc.

I'll be visiting Colorado from June 18 to July 2 (although I won't be available June 21-24), and hope to meet in person while I'm there (with coffee or lunch on me). Please let me know if you are interested, any further questions you may have, and hopefully what days and times might work best for you.

Sincerely,
Carlos
